As part as our Edinburgh Fringe 2024 coverage we are running a series of interviews with artists and creatives that are taking part in the festival.
In this interview we speak with actor Dylan Corbett-Bader about REVENGE: After The Levoyah.
Where did your arts career begin?
With a James and the giant peach monologue when I was eight. Haven’t stopped since.
Expect a fast-paced ragtag comedy heist led by East End gangster Malcom Spivak; who co-opts the two leads Lauren and Dan into kidnapping the then-Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn; Oh, there's a dead, anti-semitic plumber too.
What can you tell me about your show?

How would you describe the style of the show?
A lightning quick comic two hander!
It’s been an incredibly collaborative process. Two years ago, this began as a piece that ran at 20 minutes. Nick Cassenbaum is a genius, I love his writing so much. The team is a joy to work with.
I’m luckily surrounded by the best team, so trusting the process and upping my alcohol tolerance should do it.
Meeting new creatives! A city full of em, gotta be a few decent ones knocking around. Right?
Honestly, my girlfriend and my mates. I’m surrounded by some pretty special people. They always keep me inspired.
Ultimately I hope it makes people ask questions. A lot of theatre just reaffirms what people already believe to be true. Maybe it’s good to be a bit uncomfortable?

How do/will you prepare yourself for a run at the Fringe?
I’m luckily surrounded by the best team, so trusting the process and upping my alcohol tolerance should do it.
Other than the show, what’s something you’re looking forward to doing in Edinburgh this year?

What do you hope an audience takes away from seeing the show?
